Infant Found Dead at Fort Worth Motel

FORT WORTH — Fort Worth Police await autopsy results to determine how a four-month-old child died. The infant’s body was discovered at a Motel 6 located at 6600 South Freeway .

Officers responded to the call on Saturday evening. The initial response was for a deceased person. Once they arrived, they learned the deceased person was a four-month-old baby.

Police investigated, searched the scene and asked questions. In the end, officer found no signs of trauma, injuries or illness on the infant. Fort Worth PD said  there were no immediate concerns following its investigation.

Child Protective Services was notified. The puzzling case remains open, pending results from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
