Balch Springs, TX– A Balch Springs woman was arrested for her alleged involvement in a property theft ring.

Mindy Brayden was busted when police found tons of stolen property at her home. The items aren’t things at your local thrift shop– we’re talking cars, four-wheelers and refrigerators.

“We woke up and there were police cars all over here,” neighbor Diana Marquez said.  “There were two parked in front of our house.”

“That wasn’t the first time police officers came to their house,” Marquez added. [When police arrived, it was] kind of suspicious…but then they started taking their stuff, which kind of like triggered—something happened in that house.”

Cops hauled away toys, a boat, lawn mowers, ATV’s, washing machines, and much more. Investigators also found dozens of firearms in Brayden’s home.

“I leave my bike outside, I’m like, they could’ve stolen my stuff,” Marquez said.  “Maybe it could’ve happened to me next considering we live so close to them.”

Other neighbors said they would hear trailers unloading at all hours of the night.  Police have taken the loot as evidence.  It’s shaken this otherwise quiet neighborhood.

“Stuff is not cheap, it’s kind of valuable for me,” Marquez added.

Anyone with information, or stolen property in the area, is asked to call police.
