How do fireworks work and where did they come from?
Would you believe they started primarily in Japan and China? Those countries were the first to show how fire could be used for decorative purposes.
And how about all those colors? How's that happen? It comes down to chemicals. Strontium gives us red, barium gives us green, and copper gives us.... guess. Did you guess orange or copper-colored? No! It's blue.
