What a day for storms to roll through North Texas, when we have important visitors from the RNC in town.

If you have lived in Texas for any amount of time, you know our weather can turn on a dime.

Thursday morning, thunderstorms moved through, making an impact at DFW Airport. The FAA issued an alert, warning incoming flights about the inclement weather. The airport`s website also crashed briefly, adding to the morning delays.

Light to moderate showers is all we’ve seen in the area today.  With the drought firmly in place, who`s really going to complain if we see a few drops in the old rain bucket.
