What`s going on in Parker County?

First, 44-year old Tammy Douglas was charged and arrested for shooting her dog, and dumping the dog and her puppies on the side of the road.

Now, 32-year old Mark Upchurch is being accused of doing something far worse.

“We weren`t sure what was going on, we heard our neighbors in some kind of brawl.  Some kind of domestic dispute was going on,” neighbor Chuck Ebert said.

This was way more than your Jerry Springer fight; neighbors called the cops.

“There were police outside the front and they informed us a woman had been set on fire,” Ebert said.

Police Arrested Upchurch and charged him with aggravated assault, for setting a woman on fire; 30-percent of her body was burned. Another neighbor saw the woman running down the driveway, screaming out ‘Mark set me on fire!’

When the cops came out to the scene in Azle, they say Upchurch began yelling aggressively. He reportedly told cops, ‘I think I know why y`all are here – because what I did to my girlfriend when I lost my mind.’

“Got along with him fine, it`s just in the last few months I`ve really noticed him going down hill and very strange things starting to happen,” Ebert recalled.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend is in serious condition at Parkland Hospital and is in a medically induced coma. Hey Upchurch, maybe you should offer up a prayer.
