SAN ANTONIO, TX– Alice from the Brady Bunch could sure turn on the charm and she always had her eye on Sam the Butcher.

Now, the world remembers Ann B. Davis, the woman who played America’s favorite housekeeper. Davis died at her home in San Antonio after a fall —  she was 88.

Davis was best known as the quirky housekeeper but, in real life, admitted she wasn’t so handy around the house. And that she hated to cook.

Brady Bunch co-star Maureen McCormick (aka Marcia Brady) told the Hollywood Reporter: “I admired Ann B so much as an actor, she was one of the greats… Most of all, I admired her heart.”
