HOUSTON, TX- Could Texas be steering to the right? Well, that could happen if Texans decided to vote in Tea Party candidate, Dan Patrick for Texas Lieutenant Governor in tonight’s runoff election.

This could be a monumental moment for tea partiers. If Patrick triumphs, he promises to, above all else, secure the Texas border. Hmm, what’s he gonna do, build a wall? Oh wait.

Either way, GOP incumbent David Dewhurst isn’t seceding without a good ol’ political slugfest.

So who’ll take one of the most powerful seats in the lone star state? If Patrick takes it, this could mean a huge ho-down shakeup for Texas.
