Woman Running Across America for VeteransAnna Judd is a woman on a mission to run 3,200 miles across America! But why?

Judd’s been running to raise awareness and support for veterans.

She runs a little more than a marathon a day; that’s right, couch potatoes, a day! Her journey started in Venice Beach, California about a month ago and she plans to reach her destination, the big apple, by mid-July.

“I started this run because I wanted to push myself to my limitations. I wanted to see how far I could go mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I wanted to see if it was possible to reach my human potential. So when challenges arise, I try to look at them as an opportunity to grow stronger and become a better person,” said Judd.

Judd is running with the support of Team Red, White and Blue.  A  group that connects America’s brave through physical and social activity.

On Tuesday, she’ll run from Arlington to Fort Worth and then to Dallas. So for the next three days, she’s asking folks to take a stand  by running with her.

Good luck, Anna Judd! Hey — this puts a whole new meaning to taking the scenic route!
