Veteran Competes For Families of Fallen Friends

(IRVING, Texas)  Jeremy Johnston is one of Irving Police Department`s finest. Before Johnston worked as an officer of the law, he served our country overseas.

“I really like helping people, and help take care of some situations where they need our help and we can really be there for them,” Johnston said.

While Johnston was serving in Iraq, he lost three of his friends in active duty. Johnston has made it his new mission to help his fallen friends’ families.
He joined forces with Team Red, White and Blue, to help raise money and awareness for our servicemen and women, returning from the battlefield.

Johnston recently compete in a triathlon near Houston. He raised over $14,000 to help assist those families. Johnston continues to raise money for his friends’ families.
