A Bible banner fight ends with three cheers for Christ. A judge has ruled that cheerleaders at a Texas high school can keep their Bible verse banners at football games. Last season, the district told cheerleaders they could not use a banner that said, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” The judge said banners are constitutionally permissible and that no law, “prohibits cheerleaders from using religious themed banners at school sporting events.” This religious rumble is not over though as the ruling can still be appealed by the district.
