SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – A group of golfers were interrupted on an Arizona course when a thirsty coyote strolled up to them, apparently asking for a drink of water.

“We were on the 10th hole and we noticed the coyote stalking an animal,” Ryan Taplin told InsideEdition.com.  Taplin was with three of his friends at the Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale over the weekend when they witnessed the startling sight.

Taplin told Inside Edition the group noticed the coyote look tired and had an injured back leg.  The group had no food, but poured water and even pet the the animal as it was drinking. The coyote stayed with the group about 10 minutes before going on its way.
