PORTLAND, OR -- If you're into snakes and sport a gauged ear, you may want to keep the two away from each other.
Just ask Ashley Glawe. Her pet Bally Python named Bart got stuck in her stretched out earlobe!
"If he forces his way through, he's going to split my earlobe. So I was really scared,” Ashley told CNN. "What felt like he struck at my ear, I like froze instantly. I didn't move because I really thought he was like attacking the side of my head."
Ashley used cooking oil to try and get him out herself, but Bart was all ears!
When that didn't work, she was rushed to the ER where doctors immediately numbed her ear.
"Put like string or something like in between my ear," Ashley explained. "And the snake and like stretched my ear out more and pulled him back through and all was well.”
The fact that Ashley’s ear is fine and Bart wasn't hurt, well, it's like music to our ears.
