DALLAS -- It’s the season for office parties, get-togethers and holiday soirees!

By this time, we're hoping you've found that special outfit. But if you haven't, Fashion Fix is unwrapping all the latest trends that'll allow you to leave that ugly Christmas sweater at home!

"If you're celebrating the holidays with a night out on the town, now's your chance to push the boundaries. Add some edge to your look. The it fabric this season is velvet. We're seeing it everywhere. So the obvious choice for this dress, velvet! To add the edge pair a leather jacket, spiked earrings and ankle boots!” says Fashion and Lifestyle Expert, Misty Dawn.

If going out isn’t something you’re into and you’re thinking of a more chill Christmas, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered!

Misty says, "If you're attending a casual gathering, opt for a non-traditional holiday color like the icy blue. I also love the exposed shoulder. Exposed shoulders had a major moment this past summer and they've made their return for the winter. To complete the casual look, pair with dark denim and over the knee boots."

And we haven’t forgotten about the office holiday party!

"So you have an office party to attend. The dilemma, what's appropriate to wear? If you don't want to go the typical route of wearing a dress, try out a jumpsuit,” says Misty. “It’s conservative enough that you should feel comfortable wearing it in front of your coworkers but the exposed shoulder adds a little bit of sass. The ruffle detail adds the fun and the leopard print purse adds the funk."

And everyone loves a little funk!

So there you have it. The guide for your bomb holiday looks so you can sleigh, all day.
