What do LeBron James, the CEO of Disney, and your home workout routine have in common?
Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, gets up at 4:15 a.m. every morning and works out on his VersaClimber machine.
This workout inspired LeBron James, who also uses the VersaClimber.
But what if you don't have a VersaClimber? How can you get the same workout at home?
Well, personal trainer James Conley says it's pretty simple.
First, get the workout equipment needed; in this case, it's simply a bench. Start with a leg up on the bench and step up onto the bench and kick up to your hand. Do four-five sets of 6 and switch sides to get an even workout.
Next, Step Ups with an arm lift. Start with your right leg, step up onto the bench while raising your arms, then step back down with your right leg and lower your arms. Alternate legs with each step up and you've mastered it.
Finally, do some jump squats. For this you don't even need the bench. Kneel into a squat with one leg forward. Jump up and land with the alternate foot in front.
And there you go, these three, fast exercises are designed to get that heart rate up and get your burn on without any big and expensive gym equipment. Now you're all out of excuses to get fit.
