MAYS LANDING, NJ -- When it comes to Black Friday, the whole idea is to shop before you drop, right? Well, this year, violence and death were in store for some shoppers across the country.

In New Jersey, a man was reportedly gunned down outside a mall. The man's brother was also shot but is expected to survive. So far, no arrests have been made and there's no word on what triggered the shooting.

But in Reno, police say a fight over a spot in a Walmart parking lot led to in a man's death. Cops are also on the hunt for that shooter.

A third shooting, this time at a Tennessee mall where witnesses said a driver pulled up and fired shots before speeding off. One of the bullets hit and injured a man.

"We need to have more police and security up here especially around this time of the year," said one witness.

We don't know what the heck is going on here, but all this violence really gives Black Friday a whole new meaning.
