JOSHUA, TX -- Many tears filled Joshua High School auditorium Thursday morning. Friends and family gathered to remember 15-year-old Aaron Singleton.
The teen athlete collapsed on the football field last after taking a hard hit during his game.
Aaron was able to walk off the field, but that's when things got worse. He had a seizure, which doctors said was caused by a swelling blood clot that eventually led to his brain.
No one ever thought #33 would be hanging up his jersey this soon. After hearing what classmates said about Aaron's big heart, bright smile, and outgoing personality -- there's no question he'll always be apart of the team.
