DALLAS -- The Circuit Trail Conservancy has raised $23million dollars to bring Dallas one step closer to walking or biking The Loop.

Confused?

Well, we'll loop you in!

The project will reportedly be a 50-mile transportation system linking trails, bus stops and dart lines to neighborhoods. The plan is to connect major trails in North Dallas to Southern Dallas to Bishop Arts and Uptown--  eventually creating a "loop."

"I've seen it happen. It works well. It helps the community as a bike rider. I think it'll be safer roads," said Woody Smith, with Richardson Bike Mart.
