NORTH TEXAS -- North Texas election officials are trying to put to rest rumors about faulty voting machines across North Texas.

Many voters have posted to social media, saying voting machines in Dallas, Collin, Tarrant, and other counties changed their presidential votes from Donald Trump to Hillary Clinton when they voted straight ticket Republican.

Officials, however, say those allegations are more than likely false or simply user error.
