DALLAS -- It's been two years and counting since Dallas became Ground Zero for Ebola in America. The effects of that crisis can still be felt in the medical world, but at least one nurse is ready to move on.
Nina Pham has settled her lawsuit against Texas Health Resources, the parent company of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
It was there Pham contracted the Ebola virus while treating Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person in the U.S. diagnosed with the deadly disease.
In the lawsuit, Pham claimed the hospital did not train, nor protect, its staff after the Ebola diagnosis and that the only information she was given came from a Google search.
Terms of the settlement were not released.
