ALPINE, TX -- It's been nearly two weeks since North Texas native Zuzu Verk vanished without a trace in Alpine. The Sul Ross State University student reportedly went on a date and never returned.
In a recent press conference, the 22-year-old's dad urged Zuzu's boyfriend to speak up.
So far that plea hasn't worked but the Alpine police department says they have found some key pieces of evidence. Several different vehicles they've linked to Zuzu's disappearance. Texas search and rescue have spent hundreds of hours looking for any clues. A reward has been raised from $30,000 to $100,000!
A candlelight vigil will be held Monday in her hometown of Keller. Where family and friends will send "positive vibes and prayers her way."
