Arlington Police Welcome New K-9 After Loss of ‘Mojo’

ARLINGTON -- A new K-9 officer will be joining the pack at the Arlington Police Department.

The new dog is being welcomed after the department lost on of their companions, Mojo, to heat exhaustion earlier this year. The Belgian Malinois was helping his handler search for an aggravated assault suspect who fled during a traffic stop.

Tarrant County Blue is paying for the dog through a donation to the Arlington Police Foundation. The new K-9 will be accompanying two other Arlington Police dogs, Hank and Finn.
