Fashion Fix: Changing the Perception of Beauty

DALLAS -- One size doesn't fit all, and Dallas boutique says there's nothing wrong with that!

"Women are pressured to look a certain way, and we kind of lose ourselves in the process. I want to showcase that you can look a certain way and still rock an outfit,” says Maria Garcia, owner of Peach Boutique.

Peach Boutique is an online shop that offers cute and sexy dresses for curvier women. In order to start Peach Boutique, Maria reached deep and used her own personal story to bring the peach babe lifestyle to light.

"I’m a mom of one, I’m 31 years old. I was on the heavy size at one point and I knew the struggle,” says Maria.

Along with a team as strong as her, they held a fashion show eliminating the common box women are often put into when it comes to looks.

"We’re shaped differently, we have really tall thin girls, we have really curvy beautiful girls and we just want to make sure that everybody knows no matter what your size you can feel beautiful,” says Business Director of Peach Boutique, Denise Corona.

And beautiful it was.

With a scene set at Hashtag Heels Shoetique, a unique set of women let their confidence radiate down the red carpet.

"Beauty should never be limited, women come in different shapes, colors and sizes, fashion should include everyone,” says Sally Nan, owner of Hashtag Heels Shoetique.

Vicki Oh!, Brand Ambassador for Peach Boutique and On-Air Personality for The New Hot 93.3 says, "What they stand for, 'Your Body is Your Best Accessory,” it means a lot. Being a curvier girl, plus size, I couldn't find a lot of clothes dresses that fit me comfortable and really took care of the curves. Meeting Maria and Denise, it’s been amazing to be a part of the Peach Boutique."

A great set of heels doesn't hurt either!

"Shoes complete every look, every outfit, definitely the icing on the cake,” says Sally.

With that said, Peach Boutique's message is clear.

Vicki says, "Be you, confidence comes in all shapes and sizes. Knowing your best feature and just rocking it, slaying it to the T!”
