FRISCO -- Good decision making has helped Dak Prescott lead the Dallas Cowboys to a 5-1 record this season. But that good decision making isn't just happening between the goal lines on the field.
In a recent Sports Illustrated cover story, it was revealed that when presented with free tickets to attend a Kanye West concert in Dallas last month, Dak opted to skip it to get some sleep -- good decision.
Now, there's another story that proves that Dak has his priorities straight. According to Gil Brandt, former VP of Player Personnel for the Cowboys, instead of spending his bye week on the late night circuit and cashing in on a commercial, Dak has decided to spend more time with his grandmother.
Dak explained saying, “It's more important to me to spend time with my family than go with those deals.”
Imagine how different things would've been if Jerry had drafted Johnny Manziel, a quarterback he wanted just a few years ago.
So Dak, you keep being the sweet, lovable non-interception throwing quarterback you are. It's certainly working so far.
