FORT WORTH -- Since Typhenie Johnson was reported missing Monday, friends and family have been frantically searching for the  25-year-old.

“Definitely have to stay positive, so if anybody has anything and can come out and help we would greatly appreciate it,"  Typhenie’s former co-worker Venus Ford said. "We need all the help we can get right now.”

"We're all just meeting up here at the Valero off of post oak and Trinity," Typhenie’s Brother, Asher Johnson said.

On Friday, people who didn’t even know her were out to search the countless acres behind her apartment complex.

“I saw it on the news I knew it was here. I’ve been here going on four decades in this area. I know the land very intimately, so that’s why I knew that I needed to be over here to guide and help as best I could,” volunteer Art Sahlsotein said.

Fort Worth cops were also on the case searching high and low for Typhenie. Her former boyfriend, Christopher Revill is, is currently in jail charged in her disappearance.
