BURBANK, CA -- As The CW's Supergirl soars into season two, some people aren't feeling the whole "girl power" approach -- starting with Miley Cyrus who recently came in like a Wrecking Ball to criticize the show's title.
In a colorful interview with Variety, she asks, "What if you're a little boy who wants to be a girl so bad this makes you feel this bad?"
She also added, "Supergirl doesn't give the power that people think it does."
But the comments Miley made didn't quite fly with producers of the show.
They responded, "We continue to be proud of this show. We continue to be proud of Melissa and the character she represents and the hero that she represents. We stand by the show!"
Well, the one thing we learned from all of this is, you might get away with calling Miley a twerker or even Hannah Montana, but don't call her a Supergirl.
