Earlier this year, it was reported that Ford will be adding four new SUVs to their lineup over the next several years, according to autoblog. While there has been speculation about the return of the famous Bronco, it seems like someone in Michigan may have let the cat out of the bag.

In a recent interview with the Detroit Free Press, Bill Johnson, plant chairman for UAW Local 900 which represents workers at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant, was asked about Ford’s plan to move production of two small cars from the plant to outside the U.S.

Johnson admitted that he didn’t like seeing car production leave the states, but he said it wasn’t all bad news for Michigan.

“We hate to see the products go to Mexico, but with the Ranger and the Bronco coming to Michigan Assembly that absolutely secures the future for our people a lot more than the Focus does,” Johnson told the Detroit Free Press.

You read that right.

When asked about the possibility of a Bronco comeback, Ford Motor Company rep Kelli Felker said, ” We have committed to two additional vehicles moving in to Michigan Assembly Plant, beginning in 2018, and we remain on plan. We are not announcing specific products at this time.”

That’s not a ‘No’ now, is it??
