Next Generation Action Network Reacts to Shooting in North Carolina

DALLAS -- Another deadly police shooting in North Carolina has protesters in Dallas saying enough is enough.

Late Thursday morning, representatives from the Next Generation Action Network held a press conference in hopes of gaining more clarity from the Dallas Police Department on police brutality.

"If Dallas police expect us to just accept their account of events, as we've seen all across the country, police accounts of events, aren't exactly accurate,” says Kim T. Cole, Director of Legal Affairs.

And that's not all. The group also claims DPD killed an unnamed North Texan in late August and has not released any information to the public.

"The Dallas police department has issued absolutely no details,” says Cole. There hasn’t been any dash cams footage, there hasn't been any body cam footage and there haven’t been any details,"

But the group also didn't provide anything about where the event happened or who was killed.

Up next on the agenda for the activist group is a planned protest at Main Street Garden Park.

Cole went on to say, "We’re here because this continues to persist all across the country and as I’ve previously stated we will be here and we will march."
