AUSTIN -- Texas is going after overtime pay in yet another lawsuit filed against the Obama Administration.

The new rule, which is set to go into effect in December, would require employers to pay overtime to salaried workers making less than $47,500 a year.

That's more than double the current salary threshold.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says the rule will put a new burden on businesses, potentially forcing them to demote or lay off workers.

Texas and 20 other states are suing to block it.
