DALLAS -- It's the kind of news no one likes to hear: another police involved shooting, this time, in Dallas. Police say they answered a disturbance call early Tuesday morning before the suspect opened fire.
"When our officers arrived at the victims apartment the suspect began firing at the responding officers," DPD spokesperson explained.
Cops says that's when an officer on the scene fired back, striking the suspect. Thankfully no officers were hurt, and the suspect was taken to a hospital with "non-life threatening" injuries.
This comes just months after the mayor praised Dallas for having fewer officer-related shootings this year than any large city in America.
