Body Found In Grapevine Identified, Suspect Arrested

GRAPEVINE, TX — Grapevine Police have identified a body found in Acorn Woods Park as 24-year-old Jacqueline Vandagriff of Frisco, TX.

On September 14, Grapevine Fire Department responded to a fire around 6:30 A.M. Once extinguished, Vandagriff’s burned and dismembered body was discovered.

After a relatively short investigation, police have made an arrest in connection to the murder.

On September 18, police arrested 30-year-old Charles Dean Bryant of Haslet, TX.

Bryant is being charged with capital murder and is held on $1,000,000 bond.

Vandagriff was a student at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX.
