Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump addressed Hillary Clinton’s health for the first time Monday since her campaign disclosed Sunday that she was diagnosed with pneumonia, saying in an interview he doesn’t know what’s wrong with the Democratic nominee but that he hopes her health improves.
“I really just don’t know. I hope she gets well soon,” Trump told Fox News, adding later, “Something is going on but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail, and we’ll be seeing her at the debate.” Trump also said he had a physical last week and that he plans to release the results of that examination to the public. “I feel great, but when the numbers come in, I’ll be releasing very, very specific numbers,” Trump said.
Hillary Clinton left the 9/11 commemoration ceremony early after she felt overheated and went to her daughter’s apartment, the Clinton campaign said.
