DALLAS -- Living in Dallas allows you to experience many different districts. There's the Design District, Medical District and of course the Bishop Arts District.
But if you've ever driven to Bishop Arts, you know finding a parking spot can be a headache and walking is out of the question in this Texas heat!
Well DART, along with the "Grow South" initiative, is about to save the day! A connection between downtown Dallas and Bishop Arts District has finally come to a realization.
"I think we understand the city, that this is the way we make a great city; one strong neighborhood at a time,” said Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings.
The shuttle heads out every 20 minutes, starts at Reunion Tower and ends right on Davis Street.
The best part, it's free!
Gary Thomas, President and Executive Director of DART said, “We're connecting people in places, North Oak Cliff and Bishop Arts the rest of the community.”
Yeah and the way things are going, soon everything in Dallas will just be one street car away!
