FRISCO — Yeah, so every Cowboys Fan’s worst nightmare just came true. Remember that hit to the back Tony Romo suffered from Thursday’s game in Seattle?

Well, it’s now official: Jason Garrett says Romo has a broken bone in his back. Yeah! Not good. So how long will he be out? Officially, there’s no timetable, though ESPN is reporting 6-10 weeks.

During a conference call, coach Garrett said he isn’t ruling Romo out for the opener… but who knows? What we do know? Dak Prescott – who’s looked sharp so far this pre-season – better be ready to play. It’s his team now. At least for the time being.
