VICTORIA, Australia — A new road safety ad campaign in Australia is using an interactive sculpture to show what humans would need to look like if they were going to be able to survive a high speed car crash — and it ain’t pretty.

The Transport Accident Commission entrusted the design and creation of the sculpture, named ‘Graham,’ to road safety engineer Dr. David Logan, trauma surgeon Christian Kenfield, and artist Patricia Piccinini. He’s touted as “The only person designed to survive on our roads” on his website, meetgraham.

Graham is made from fiberglass, silicone, resin, and human hair and is on display this summer at the State Library in Victoria.
