GRAPHIC VIDEO: Security Cams Capture Love Field Shooting

DALLAS — New video released late Friday shows the tense moments leading up the shooting at Dallas Love Field that ended with a rock-wielding man being shot by an officer.

Surveillance video from the airport shows the man pulling up in a black car, dropping off a woman. They get into some type of argument and that’s when he throws a construction cone and rocks through the car’s windows.

When officers show up… things escalate quickly.

In amateur video posted to Instagram, you can hear the shots ring out.

Here’s how one witness said he saw it all go down:

“I kept hearing this noise of someone busting windows,” Alfred McClinton told NewsFix. “This guy came out and police told him to get down, and then he wouldn’t get down and he kept telling them to ‘Shoot me! Shoot me!’ He darted behind this SUV and the law went on the other side. Then he went up to the Law and the Law shot him like four or five times, and then I thought he was on the ground, then I heard five more other shots.”

The madhouse that followed created huge delays at Love Field with 30 delays, four cancellations, and at least three hours to make it through TSA security checkpoints.

“They are having to re-screen everybody because some folks made it through when they heard the gunshots without being screened,” explained Dallas PD Assistant Chief Randall Blankenbaker.

The suspect has been rushed to Parkland Hospital. No word on his condition.
