Feeling the Love: Dallas Love Field Ranks #1 in Customer Satisfaction

DALLAS - Across the country, more travelers and fewer TSA screeners have caused major delays, grounding many passengers' hopes of getting to their flights on-time. Even though it's all in the name of safety -- many people are fed up.

It's led to the TSA security chief being fired and to TSA Administrator Peter Neffenger testifying on Capitol Hill Wednesday, “We are holding ourselves accountable to high standards of performance and I'm supporting our front-line officers in their critical mission.”

But as the approval of the TSA is nosediving, the love for flying in and out of Dallas is soaring above the clouds.

According to the latest J.D. Power airport satisfaction study, Dallas Love Field ranks the highest in customer satisfaction out of North American mid-sized airports. The airport received the highest scores in categories like check-in and security satisfaction, young travelers' satisfaction, gate cleanliness and access to and from the airport, among others.

But not everyone can be as good as Dallas because according to a separate study conducted by milecards.com, some of the airports with the highest misery scores are Newark, New York-La Gaurdia and Chicago-O'Hare.

So, as air travel is expected to rise to record highs this summer, it's good to have the airport best equipped to handle it right in your backyard.
