DALLAS - Pastor Robert Jeffress of the First Baptist Church of Dallas isn't afraid to speak his mind.

"Gender is an absolute, just like age is an absolute, and just because some hairy-legged man  feels confused about his gender, doesn't mean he gets to come in and shower with my daughter in a shower room," Pastor Jeffress said.

Jeffress is critical of businesses that are boycotting states like North Carolina for passing their own bathroom bill, even though those same businesses work in countries that don't accept LGBT rights.

The LGBT community says the bathroom issue is about treating everyone equally and should be a non-issue.

Pastor Jeffress agrees it's a non-issue because he says he doesn't believe anyone is transgender.

"'I believe gender identity confusion is an emotional disorder that should be treated compassionately and professionally," said Jeffress.

The pastor believes there's a cure for that transgender confusion: you've got and you should get it checked out.
