LAS VEGAS, NV -- The 2016 Billboard Music Awards were held Sunday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it was non-stop star power and performances. But according to the online critics (Twitter trolls) the awards show turned out to be more of a snooze fest than a fan fest!

For starters, Ciara and Ludacris came out of the ATL shadows to host the big night! But, although CiCi's legs are body goals for some of us, she didn't have a leg to stand on when it came to the hosting thing.

MTV even joined the slamming-sesh until Ciara fired back!

Guess you could describe the amount of shade thrown on Twitter completely ludicrous.

Now, there were a few hits in the show: Britney Spears still has it, Kesha's comeback was worth waiting for,
Celine Dion's emotional speech was a tear-jerker, and Meek Mill finally scored that "W'' over Drake for Rap Album of The Year.

But, what was suppose to be the performance of the night didn't sit to well with viewers. Madonna serenaded the crowd in a special tribute to the late Prince. And let's just say the 57-year-old singer sounded like a virgin on the mic. Some argue she chose the wrong song, but maybe they just chose the wrong artist.

In a shady tweet, BET reassured prince fans that they'll come with something better:

Well BET, If we can get trough that long CEO speech, we can all hope for a better version of the Bill-bored awards!
