Look up in the sky — it’s a bird, it’s a plane. No, it’s Supergirl flying over to CW 33 for its second second.
Yep, the baddest chick in the sky is moving from CBS to its sibling-network.
What’s up with the big flight? Well, we’re sure The Flash–Supergirl crossover success this season plays a part. But according to the Hollywood Reporter, with Supergirl ranking as CBS’ most expensive first-year show ever, producer Warner Bros. Television is looking to cut costs.
And hey, it can’t hurt that our audience is much younger — which could mean higher ratings.
As far as we’re concerned — CBS’ loss, The CW’s gain.
