COLLIN COUNTY -- Seems like the guy charged with kidnapping Christina Morris is coming up with every excuse in the book to dodge his day in court. Enrique Arochi doesn't think he can get a fair trial in Collin County, so his attorneys are requesting a change of venue -- due to pre-trial publicity.
That's not all. His attorneys are also requesting to have key DNA evidence thrown out and sequester jurors.
For now, the judge only ruled to push the trial back from June 6 to September 12.
Back in October, prosecutors delayed Arochi's trial because they were awaiting DNA test results on hair samples found in a shop vacuum near Arochi's job.
23-year-old Christina Morris hasn't been since surveillance video showed her walking to a Shops at Legacy parking garage in August of 2014.
Since his charge, Arochi's been pretty tight-lipped, despite Christina's mom desperately begging him to give up any info that could bring her daughter home.
