LOS ANGELES -- For decades, Disney has inspired millions of kids to experience a whole new world. But is it time to bring the real world to the wonderful world of Disney? Well, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation think so.

In fact, they've started a petition calling for Disney to add LGBT characters to future Star Wars films.

They're putting the entertainment company on blast, claiming they've failed to represent gay characters in any of their films. In their 2016 Studio Responsibility Index GLAAD  says, "LGBT people are already part of families and communities around the world and film of all genres should reflect that."

So, apparently they think a galaxy far far away would be the perfect place to start.

That's not the end of this episode ...

Another petition is calling for Elsa  to have a lesbian girlfriend in the upcoming film Frozen 2. Fans took to Twitter with the hashtag #GiveElsaAGirlfirend  or #GiveElsaABoyfriend. While some parents are saying "no" to the idea, others are down for Disney introducing it's first ever lesbian princess!
