DENTON -- You may know Chef Blythe Beck from her Dallas restaurant Pink Magnolia. Or maybe you've seen her on Spice Of Blythe (every Tuesday on NewsFix, by the way).

On this Tuesday, Chef Beck was also up in Denton, visiting hospitality students at the University of North Texas, and "spicing" up their student-run restaurant.

"I'm so excited because I've come back to my alma mater, UNT, for Guest Chef Day," Beck told NewsFix.  "These students at UNT have an amazing setup. It's good to see the future of American kitchens, and it's full of women, and that's even cooler!"

It was a long day for the chefs and students, prepping over 300 three-course meals for customers at The Club at Gateway.

"Welcome to the restaurant business," Chef Beck said!
