DALLAS — It’s the weirdest, wackiest, wildest parade in all of DFW! Yeah, the annual St. Patricks Day Parade made it’s way down Greenville avenue, and this year, CW33 was front and center.

Yeah, the whole NewsFix crew was out in full force to bring out the Irish side of Big D!

“It is crazy out here!” said Yolanda, “There’s so many people up and down Greenville avenue, and we’ve been out here a little bit before 10 o’clock this morning, the parade started at 11 but these folks have been sitting out here since 7 o’clock this morning, it’s crazy!”

Crazy is right, and the slow moving floats make for a nice target for what might be the city’s strangest parade tradition.

“This is unbelievable! And I’m still trying to figure out if when they throw things at you it’s because they love you, or they hate you!” said Grego, “Like some tortillas are coming our way, but the jello shots are extra good. I’m on my second one! I mean I’m keeping them for later honestly!”

Yeah, Grego suuuurrre!

All in all you couldn’t have asked for a much better St. Paddy’s Day party! And remember, if you were out there wearing green on Greenville Avenue, be sure to share your photos with us, #CW33, for a shot at $333.

And may the luck of the Irish go with you!
