DALLAS -- Lone Star State basketball fans will have plenty of teams to cheer for with March Madness underway! On Sunday, the NCAA Selection Committee announced the roster of 68 teams for this year's NCAA Tournament, and five of them hail from the great state of Texas!

On Thursday, Baylor will kick off the action, holding down the #5 seed in the West region, taking on 12 seeded Yale. That same day Texas Tech, the #8 seed in the Midwest region, face off against 9 seeded Butler.

On Friday, #14 Stephen F. Austin will look to pull off the long-shot upset against #3 West Virginia, in the East Region.

The same day, #3 Texas A&M will take on #14 Green Bay and #6 Texas will tip-off against #11 Northern Iowa. If The Aggies and Longhorns both win, it'll set up a second round match-up against the bitter, in-state rivals!

Obviously missing from the lineup of Texas teams is SMU who, despite a 25-5 record this season, could not take part in any post-season play due to a ban following violations of NCAA policies.
