BISHOP ARTS DISTRICT -- When the who's who of Hollywood walk the red carpet on Oscars night, they're covered in gowns and glam totaling thousands of dollars! But Dallas fashion designer and former Project Runway contestant Shirin Askari is helping ladies "get the look" without breaking the bank!

"The great thing about my line is you can get that Oscars look that great contemporary look at a great price," Shirin explained.

She describes her fashion line as trendy with "a lot of print, color, and a really fun way to wear versatile pieces."

Shirin's version of Rachel McAdams' Oscars fit is a black and white two-piece crop top and pencil skirt.

"The nice thing about this print is that it can look really seductive and sexy," Shirin explained.

Or how about stepping out in a stunning red cape dress like Lupita Nyong'o? Shirin's red caped mini dress has a little peak of an arm but is also short enough so you can showoff your legs!

"Capes are really really big this year and because of that we're seeing them or the red carpet," she added.

Shirin also showed off a stunning black and white maxi set that is very similar to the one Patricia Arquette has worn, "Her's was a dress but here we did it with a crop top and a maxi."

You can snag all of these pieces from her collection at Indigo 1745 in the Bishop Arts District, as well as other boutiques in DFW. Shirin is also launching a retail site in the next couple of months.

So, if you're looking for an award winning look -- for the low -- The Askari Collection just might be your next Fashion Fix!
