MANCHESTER, Conn. -- It's not a party until two women bump into each other and decide to slug it out as the entire brawl is caught on camera, right?

Police in Connecticut are investigating a large fight that broke out at a Chuck E. Cheese during a child's birthday party on Sunday night.

A family was celebrating at the restaurant in Manchester, Connecticut when strangers showed up and started fighting near the carousel, which resulted in a brawl, police told WTIC. According to NBC Connecticut, the incident involved two women and may have started after the two bumped into each other.

What started with the two women became an altercation involving 12 people, police said. Two children suffered minor injuries after being knocked down during the fighting.

The suspects fled before police arrived at restaurant. Officers are reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspects. Witnesses told WTIC it took "some time" for police to arrive.

Chuck E. Cheese's released a statement on Monday:
