PONDER- The sound of excited high school students filled  Ponder Gymnasium Tuesday Morning.

"It was amazing! It was awesome I feel really important," said one student after getting surprising news.

Two checks worth $20 thousand from James Wood dealerships in Denton and Decatur would make anybody feel that good!

The band has been down emotionally and financially this month after their booster club funds were swiped from their bank account. Not only was the hard-earned cash stolen, but it left the band in thousands of dollars of debt. The school had been raising funds for two years and had big plans to perform at this year's Peach Bowl.

Ponder Police Department says they have a person of interest in the case, but they haven't made an arrest yet.
