Can you lose friends you didn’t even have?

If so, Stacey Dash just did — by the boat loads, we’re guessing.

The actress and political commentator, jumping into the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, appeared Wednesday on FOX News’ Outnumbered and called for an end to all things African American-specific, starting with Black History Month and BET.

“We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration, and if we don’t want segregation, then we have to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black.  If it were the other way around, we’d be up in arms. It’s a double standard. There shouldn’t be a Black History month. We’re Americans, period.”

In a blog post later in the day, Dash points out she is not the only black artist who feels this way, referring to a 2005 segment of 60 Minutes where Morgan Freeman schooled Mike Wallace on racism and why he thought Black History month was ridiculous.

But somehow, Freeman came out of his segment still loved by millions.
