The LEGO exhibit runs January 15 - April 10th.

"The first six weeks you can come for $5 during our penguin days," Holloway said.

January 16 & 17, the zoo is offering one free admission for every two cans non-perishable food or pet supplies; the donations will be given to communities affected by the December 26 tornadoes.

Well, if you think your kids are master LEGO builders, the zoo wants to see what you've got!

"We're looking for people to bring in their own sculptures. There are different sizes and then we're going to judge it and we’ll vote then it'll be on exhibit for the run of the LEGO exhibit," she said.

The zoo is accepting entries from January 14-16th. Just be careful where you build your creations, remember kids, LEGOs aren't barefoot friendly.
