NORTH TEXAS -- Ahhh... the holidaze; otherwise known as one of the most stressful shopping seasons of the year.

You know who we’re talking about -- the “I just don’t know what to buy because they’re so hard to shop for” person in your life. There’s one in every family.

Oh, if only Santa were as generous in real life as he is in those Lexus commercials.  Seriously, who has a “December to Remember?”

Well, unfortunately, this story isn’t loaded with the cliché list noting “the perfect gift for every person.”

But, we can give you a list of gifts you shouldn’t give – to ensure your holiday is merry and bright. The folks over at msn.com break it down.

Number One on the list: pets. Sure, they’re cute and cuddly, but as the article notes: “pets are a lifelong commitment and shouldn’t be forced on someone without prior knowledge or consent.”

Then, there are the obvious no-nos:

*gym memberships

*self-help books

*school or office supplies

*and … bathroom scales. One word: N-O, NO!

Rounding out the Top 10:

*cleaning supplies

*diet cookbooks

*socks

*and the proverbial fruitcake.

But, perhaps the biggest don’t give gift on the list: the dreaded regift.

Well, now that you know what not to buy, we wish you well on you shopping adventure.
